A chance conversation over lunch in February 2001 brought the minds and concepts of a New Zealand medical researcher and herbalist together. Both had been working on the formulation of topical creams and gels to increase pleasure during sexual activity. Prompted by the large number of women reporting some degree of sexual dysfunction, and dissatisfaction with this important part of their lives, the discussions developed and a superior product was formulated.

WomanZone Ingredients

L-ARGININE: The formation of Nitric Oxide is dependent on the presence in the tissues of L-Arginine, a naturally occurring amino acid, and the primary ingredient of WomanZone. However, like the bodys stores of vitamins and minerals, tissue levels of L-Arginine may become depleted. Diet, lifestyle, environment, stress, and age are all factors contributing to this depletion.

Direct application of L-Arginine in a base favouring osmotic transport can help restore optimal Nitric Oxide synthesis.

The herbs contained in WomanZone work synergistically, improving libido and sexual function generally, while supporting the increased blood flow triggered by L-Arginine.

MENTHOL: Menthol derived from mint plants, helps to soothe skin and stimulate blood flow. It is used as a delivery agent, facilitating the absorption of other substances through cell membranes.

ALOE VERA: This clear gel from the A. barbadensis leaf acts as a soothing agent for the membranes of the genital area. With a pH almost identical to that of human skin, it balances, heals and counters any potential for bacterial or viral interference.

For more than 100 years, Damiana has been used to improve sexual function. It can be helpful for menopausal problems and provides some relief for menstrual headaches. Damiana stimulates oestrogen production and is used to treat nervousness, weakness, and exhaustion. It also stimulates muscle activity, which is a part of healthy sexual activity.

ECHINACEA: Echinacea is one of the primary remedies for helping the body rid itself of microbial infections. Herbalists consider Echinacea one of the best blood purifiers and an effective antibiotic. It activates the body's immune system increasing the chances of fighting off any disease.

MUIRA PUAMA: Reputed to be an aphrodisiac, Muira Puama is also highly regarded by Brazilians as a stimulant and stomach tonic.

PRICKLY ASH: This herb may be used in a way that is similar to Cayenne, although it is slower in action. Any sign of poor circulation calls for the use of Prickly Ash. It is also used for chronic problems such as rheumatism and skin diseases.

SARSAPARILLA: It has been shown that Sarsaparilla contains constituents with properties that aid testosterone activity in the body. Testosterone has been hailed as a prescription for passion since the discovery that deficiencies in women may be to blame for their loss of interest in sex.

LICORICE: Licorice acts as a sexual stimulant, bringing oxygen to the genital area and increasing endurance and vitality. The herb contains plant oestrogens, producing mild oestrogenic effects, which have proven useful in treating menopause, regulating menstruation and relieving menstrual cramps. It works by strengthening the adrenal glands and helping them to produce their hormones. Licorice is also an excellent anti-stress herb. Licorice root also fights inflammation and viral, bacterial and parasitic infection.

SODIUM BENZOATE AND SODIUM CHLORIDE: Sodium Benzoate and Sodium Chloride are substances natural to the body's own metabolism. Sodium Benzoate can prevent growth of almost all microorganisms (yeast, bacteria, and fungi) and together with sodium chloride act as a preservative.

XANTHAN GUM AND HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE: Xanthan Gum is a thickening and suspending agent used in pharmaceuticals. Hydroxyethylcellulose is a water-soluble polymer that can thicken, suspend, bind, emulsify, form films, stabilize, disperse, retain water, and provide protective colloidal action. It is used to prepare solutions with a wide range of viscosities.
